Is getting a Kentucky real estate license for me?
That depends. Do you get up in the morning dreading work? Do weekends fly by way too quickly? Do you feel like you’re watching your life pass you by while you work? Want a challenge? Want to try something new that makes you feel significant?
How about actually getting paid what you think you’re worth?
Why not Real Estate? Kentucky Real Estate Licenses may be easier than you think obtain. Imagine you are finally ready to plop down on the coach to watch some TV after a long and stressful day of work. You barely made it in time to get Suzie off to dance lessons and Johnnie to football practice. The encounter you had with your boss Mr. Smith at work earlier is still gnawing at you and leaves you feeling irritated and angry. You ask yourself, “When will he finally appreciate my dedication and hard work?” I wish I were my own boss. I could set my own hours and actually enjoy my time away from the office.
Now picture yourself in a new life as a real estate agent. Working your own schedule. Read the rest of this entry »

Kentucky real estate school pre-license online courses are now approved by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission. (KREC) Why is it necessary for us to point out our classes are approved? It seems not a day goes by when we get asked “Are your online classes really approved for credit?” It makes us wonder where people are getting their information, but here’s the time line of all our approvals.
In November 2006, Thornton’s Real Estate Academy became the only primary provider in Kentucky (we create our own classes) to receive approval for online continuing education course for real estate agents.
In February of 2007, as a result of two years of design and planning, Thornton’s Real Estate Academy received permanent approval from the KREC for the first ever all online 96 hour pre-license course. (Excluding final proctored exam)
The certificate you receive from us at course completion is no different than one you’d receive at any other school because it meets all the KREC requirements. On second thought, there is one big difference. A certificate from another school will have cost you a whole lot more money.

Okay, I admit that I’m a little biased towards online since I created the first online 96 hour Kentucky real estate class ever approved by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission, but facts are facts. In the spirit of David Letterman, I’ve included 10 reasons why attending real estate school “online” is better than going to the boring “classroom”. There can be no disputing the following: Read the rest of this entry »

This video shows a very talented person painting the exceptional “Mona Lisa” using only the computer program “Paint”. You don’t need the same skills Michelangelo originally displayed to paint today because the technology helps make everything easier. That’s really the point behind me posting this video on a real estate education website. There are plenty of tools and software programs at your disposal to help you become a successful real estate agent. Don’t be limited by anything other than your imagination.
