Is getting a Kentucky real estate license for me?

That depends. Do you get up in the morning dreading work? Do weekends fly by way too quickly? Do you feel like you’re watching your life pass you by while you work? Want a challenge? Want to try something new that makes you feel significant?

How about actually getting paid what you think you’re worth?

Why not Real Estate? Kentucky Real Estate Licenses may be easier than you think obtain. Imagine you are finally ready to plop down on the coach to watch some TV after a long and stressful day of work. You barely made it in time to get Suzie off to dance lessons and Johnnie to football practice. The encounter you had with your boss Mr. Smith at work earlier is still gnawing at you and leaves you feeling irritated and angry. You ask yourself, “When will he finally appreciate my dedication and hard work?” I wish I were my own boss. I could set my own hours and actually enjoy my time away from the office.

Now picture yourself in a new life as a real estate agent. Working your own schedule. Meeting with exiting clients to help them achieve the American dream. As you shake hands with a young couple after your first closing, you think of how happy they will be to provide their three year old with a yard to play in and a place to finally call home.

Instead of sitting down wasting time in front of the TV, sit in front of your computer and start your new career in real estate. Log onto RealEstateRenegade, create a user name and password, and get your license. That’s right; all you need is a computer because all of our pre-license classes are online. (At least until you get ready to take your final exam) Not quite ready to tell Mr. Smith what you have been dying to say to him the past 15 years? You don’t have to. The Kentucky Real Estate Commission only requires a 96 hour class to get a Kentuck real estate license. (Click here for a full list of Kentucky real estate license requirements) 96 hours and your on your way to being your own boss.

What about the time to attend a Kentucky Real Estate School?

Now, lets break that 96 hours down:

That’s 2 hours a day for 48 days (1 month and 18 days to be exact)

Dedicate just 30 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes at lunch, and 1 hour in the evening on your computer. Of course if your really motivated you can choose to attend up to 8 hours a day and possibly finish in only a couple of weeks. You have to complete every activity so completion time can vary slightly, but could a better situation exist than to have a completely flexible schedule?

WOW! No driving (we all know how high gas can be), no struggling to fit a class in your schedule and no wasting precious time outside of your home away from your family. No dealing with stuffy classes, boring teachers, and those annoying people who always are making some kind of bodily noise (you know the type) interfering with your concentration. We fit into your time-table day or night. Depending on your schedule and what’s right for you, you could possibly finish the Pre-License class in as little as 12 days or you can take up to 6 months to complete the course. (Note: At the end of the course, you will be required to take a monitored/proctored exam at one of twenty locations in Kentucky. You can take your test in Ashland, Bowling Green, Campbellsville, Elizabethtown, Erlanger/ Northern Kentucky, Frankfort, Georgetown, Henderson, Hopkinsville, Lebanon, Louisville, Madisonville, Mount Sterling, Nicholasville, Owensboro,Paducah, Pikeville, Shelbyville, Somerset, and Shepherdsville.)

For one not only are we the only Kentucky Pre-License education provider who currently offers the required 96 hour Pre-license course online, our founder and instructor Todd (Renegade) Thornton was a successful real estate agent and broker before focusing his attention on improving the quality and availability of real estate education. He knows what it takes not only to pass the exam, but also how to be a successful agent. Did we mention he’s also the author of two real estate books and been on numerous radio and television shows?

Remember when you started your job? You probably knew nothing about the profession, much less on being an expert. What if you had unlimited knowledge and resources at your disposal? Do you think it would have helped early on your job or career to start with a solid foundation? You bet. When you start your career, you will have knowledge and tools you will actually use. Not just useless information.

“I’m not that computer savvy, how difficult will this class be?” You ask.

Can you read and follow directions? It’s as simple as that. You read the text and we guide you through the course. I must mention to keep you from getting bored; we have included over 40 hours of video and audio clips, electronic flashcards, matching exercises, and quizzes. (Click here for a list of extras)

Are you wondering if you have the right computer? Not a problem, you don’t need anything special (although we do recommend a minimum of  512MB of RAM). I guess if you wanted to use us as an excuse to run out and buy that top of the line computer you have been dreaming about, you can. However, we will not take responsibility when your husband/wife gets the bill. But, if you have problems with the one you have, our 24/7 computer technical support will give you their best effort to have you up and running in no time.
